About Us
Language is above all communication. We believe that successful communication is not found only in textbooks, drills and grammar exercises. Successful communication is to be able to comprehend, speak and understand the culture. Successful communication requires all 3! Our mission at SAVOIR FAIRE Language Institute is to teach students how to communicate with the language and the culture they learn. We offer an immersion approach in a relaxed atmosphere where our students can naturally communicate and laugh as they participate in activities that really get them talking and learning.

Our Director: Joelle Petit Adkins
Director and Program Director, Joelle started Savoir Faire Language institute in 1995. She owns a full teaching credential for Paris V University with emphasis in teaching foreign languages. She is a Master Teacher and Master Trainer. She leads her team to develop and oversee the different programs SFLI offers.
Her passion for travelling brought her to study multiple languages and cultural differences. Though only fluent in French and, she could live in a Spanish speaking culture and survive in an Italian or German environment. She embraces any opportunities to discover new languages and cultures. Her passion for languages and cultural understanding is shared by the team she assembles and trains at Savoir Faire Language Institute.
Listening to your needs and challenges is her first priority. She understands what it takes to learn a foreign language and she makes sure that you get the best program for your needs. finding the perfect class for you or your child..
Our office Director: Nancy Mosleh
To teach, teachers need the proper tools, to learn, students need the perfect environment, so Nancy dedicates her job to insure that every tool needed is available, in the right place at the right time. Whatever the project, she coordinates resources and staff with grace and effeciency. When Joelle is out of the office, she steps in to make sure the school runs smoothly.
Our Student/Teacher Coordinator: Allyson Smolko
Dedicated to taking care of all your scheduling needs, Allyson coordinates all the teachers' schedule and the room assignments. She also makes sure the office is running smoothly! By phone, via email or in person, you can always count on her to secure the best time for your class.
Our Project Manager: Ken Dennis
With such a big operation, business issues need to be address before they happne. Ken brings his business experience to our organisation. He plans, reforms, organises the business part of Savoir Faire to insure the smoother operation possible and a successful environement for all our students.
Our Accountant: Grace Wang
Born and raised in China, Grace moved to the US, in 2002.Detailed oriented, she takes particular care to insure every number is right. Very responsible and hard working , with a lot of patience, she easily integrated and is now a full member of our Savoir Faire Family.
Our Teacher Trainer: Ana Fujimoto
Born and raised in a town outside of Mexico City, she attended the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Before joining Savoir Faire in December 2001, Ana spent time tutoring disadvantaged youth in reading and writing in Spanish. She has a terrific track record at Savoir Faire teaching beginning to advanced Spanish and providing customized programs to our private students. After teaching for several years in our preschool, she now focuses her time training and supporting our teachers. “I believe learning a new language opens doors to new opportunities”.
